Het verhaal intrigeerde me van in het begin. Een enemies-to-lovers verhaal met magie, geweld, liefde, verwondering, ... Het verhaal had veel plottwists en je wist nooit wat je moest verwachten.
Het boek werd heel hoog aanbevolen op booktok en ik ben blij dat ik het eindelijk gelezen heb! Ik ga nu meteen het 2de boek starten, benieuwd hoe het verhaal verder loopt.

the story intrigued me from start to finish. an enemies to lovers trope with magic, violence, love, wonder, ... the story had many plot twists and you never knew what to expect.
The book was highly recommended on booktok and I'm very glad I bought it and finally read it! I'm going to start the second book right away, curious to see how the story continues.
