Dit is een leuke aanvulling in de serie. Het is een novelle tussen A Court of Wings en Ruin en A Court of Silver Flames.

Het boekje veel toe aan het plot van de serie? Nee, maar het is wel leuk om te lezen na ACOWAR omdat het een aantal maanden na de oorlogt. Er zit weinig actie in het boek, je zou het kunnen vergelijken met een kerstspecial in een serie.

Het enige waar ik niet zo goed mee overweg kan is het woord "gentlemales"... Wat is dat eigelijk... Ik begrijp dat ze geen mensen zijn, maar om niet gewoon mannen en vrouwen te zeggen? Dat vind ik wat overdreven.

Over het algemeen een goed en leuk verhaal. Deze krijgt van mij 3,5 sterren.

This is a nice addition to the series. It is a novella between A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Silver Flames. 

Does the book have much to do with the plot of the series? No, but it is nice to read after ACOWAR because it is several months after the war. There is little action in the book, you could compare it to a Christmas special in a series. 

The only thing i don't get along with very well is the word "gentlemales"... What the heck is that... I understand they're not humans, but not to just say men and women? I think that's a bit exaggerated. 

Overall a good and fun story. This one gets 3.5 stars from me.
